How so similar to TARP - Hurry-Hurry pass this $4T cuts and Tax Decreases OR ELSE!!!

So, our "Democratic" President Obama is using the tried and true Bush tactic of declaring an emergency (the debt ceiling) and hurry hurry pass this bill OR ELSE!!!

The debt ceiling is not an emergency - just raise it. Period.

Then, in the Halls of the Congress and in the Halls of the Senate, have our collective Representative Body debate, in front of America, exactly what the plan is. Let America think about it. Give America time to weigh in. Produce a bill. Produce amendments. Vote on it in the House. Vote on it in the Senate. Then send it to the President.

No, this is, really, the biggest snow job since the Bank Heist and Tarp and the Bush Tax Cuts. Notice how the rich always get richer and we get poorer and poorer.

We MUST reject these god damn bastards plan to destroy us.

there were many TARP defenders on this forum at the time, mostly pushing the "blood in the streets" meme.

Done pounding the pavement for lawmakers and politicians that lie to my face. Done making phone calls and contributing money. I lost my job 3 months into Obama's presidential campaign and I worked my ass to get him elected. I feel like a fool. A still unemployed fool, living with a chronic disease I can't get treatment for and watching and trying to help my 76 yr old mother who lives on a 603 dollar social security check and trying to take care of a brother who broke his back in the Army who gets a pittance from the government. And go ahead and shit all over me for not praising Obama. At this point I just don't care.

We do everything - we still lose.

We do nothing - they win.

Really is time for the 300,000,000 of us to say... stop it!
