How many Lib Dems...Progressives...and Seeker of Truth are now Under the Bus?
Edited on Wed Jul-20-11 08:57 PM by KoKo
Anyone have a list?

I'll start off with:

Paul Krugman
Glenn Greewald
Joan Walsh, Salon Magazine
Joseph Stiglitz
Michael Moore
Dennis Kucinich
Jane Hamsher
Cornell West
Keith Olbermann
David Schuster (banned until contract runs out...long ago)
Cindie Sheehan
Amy Goodman
Cynthia McKinney
Cenk (RECENT)
Ed Schultz (he's being worked on to go UTB)

I think there are more....So many ....anyone know others...some Media Folks for Truth..thrown UNDER THE BUS?

There were some others in the Media who were Offed..

The "SHOCK" has gotten to me...and I know there are more...but..my memorie fades.

11. yes...here from Wiki..although I don't remember DU'ers in numbers trashing him...here it is...
Court ruling, reinstatement of commission

On October 12, 2010, U.S. federal judge Virginia Phillips ordered the Department of Defense to stop enforcing “don’t ask, don’t tell” – the law that prohibits openly gay people from serving in the military.<33> On October 19, Judge Phillips further refused a federal government request to stay the order pending appeal.<34> That same day, Dan Choi went to the Times Square recruiting station in New York to rejoin the U.S. Army<34> (referred to in one source as "reaccesion");<35> his request is in process.<5> Choi reaffirmed his intention to rejoin the service on December 19.<36> Following the repeal of "don't ask, don't tell" by Congress, Choi was present at the U.S. Interior Department to attend President Obama's signing of the bill on December 22, 2010.<37>
2011 arrest in Moscow

On May 28, 2011, Choi was among a number of both Russian and foreign activists (including Louis-Georges Tin and Andy Thayer) who were arrested by Moscow police when Moscow Pride was held in spite of a ban by city authorities.<38>

26. Chris gets lots of us replying...but "The Nation" doesn't and I think Cockburn is banned
from postings here. An "Unapproved Site" is what I've seen... But, then it's up to Mods and Skinner what they want to see or not see around here....so we try to "go with the rules."

6. President Obama doesn't reallly jive with that whole Liberal thing.
He famously warned my representative: "Don't think we're not keeping score, brother." My senator is investigating the Obama administration for potentially unlawful GPS/cellphone tracking of US citizens.

LOTS of cool people under the bus. I wouldn't mind it so much if the driver hadn't claimed we'd all be on it...instead of under it!

I think that you have a lot of them covered, just bacuse the prominent economists aren't talked about here, besides Krugman, but I digress.

In general:

women
GLBT issues, which have improved a little, but not by much
main street versus Wall St. (add Ed Schultz to your list, along with Mike Malloy, Thom Hartmann has been trashed here)....

I'll keep thinking.

and are right all of the time about everything
just cause they can open their pie hole where there is an audience
deserves to be under a bus.

As for Pres. Obama, he hasn't thrown anyone anywhere, although those
who say they have the "trouf" accuse him falsely of such.

I'm amazed how much shit folks can make up;
how many words they can put in the mouth of others,
and then have the nerve to walk around trying to sell themselves
as being truthful, ethical and righteous....when they are no different
from the teabaggers they say they cannot stand.

Signed, a stupid Motherfucker (according to "a" bus driver).

I agree you are stupid or complicit.

The election of POTUS Obama was the happiest political moment of my life (as documented at DU)

But Obama has close to zero integrity. I used to rec your posts.

named so far in this thread have made the claim that they have a corner of the market on truth. That's your fabrication.

32. The Bus now includes the Shade, Trees and the Veggie Stand nearby?
 Every once in awhile a Kucinich or Hamsher comes near the tree and a reporter who was getting a cool drink "near the bus/veggie stand/trees...jumps out and says: "Let's give some time to the Villified Dem Person...because we are supposed to "do that fair and balanced thingy."

That's the short answer.

34. That's an awful large list of people under the bus.
All progressives, too.

I guess that's what happens when you say anything that is negative about the President. Under the bus you go by the Obama rubber stampers. Who is next? Who dare try their chances under those big wheels?
