So I joined a non-partisan forum to debate with other people and I found this one guy who really scares me. One of his posts talks about vigilante justice for the Case Anthony trial and his blog posts are insane and dangerous. Remember these are the type of people that make up the Republican party. He used to post at Beliefnet.com--for all I know, he still might. He was an insane white-power, Christian Dominionist to the core. I was one of the moderators (called "Beliefnet Hosts") at the time, and El Cid was one of the biggest PITAs around. He hung around on the "Western Christian Culture" board, which was basically code for "White Separatist Christian Culture".

For what it's worth, this guy has been exactly this level of crazy for well over 11 years now, if not longer. He keeps trying to convince white Christian America to rise up in revolution, and it just isn't working out for him, the poor thing. I've always suspected that he's one of those Mommy's-basement-dwelling, Cheeto-stained keyboard warriors whose only experience with "dating" involves his handgun collection and a jar of Vaseline. :rofl:

I've tried arguing with him, but I've already given up after being there for little more than a couple of days.

His posts at Beliefnet were an insane mixture of incoherent ranting, irrational "evidence", and long lists of people who were in on the "conspiracy" to subvert "white Christian culture". You couldn't talk to him--all he really wanted to do was to constantly post these little Unabomber-esque manifestos. He wasn't really looking for a conversation. Rarely, he would engage--but never with any serious coherence. He took conspiracy theories as "givens" for the sake of his arguments, and he'd throw so many of them into a single post that your head would explode just trying to take all of the crazy in.

Seriously--that dude is a complete loony-toon. He's just looking for an audience for his raving, because he has an ego the size of Texas and he truly believes that he's some kind of savior-hero for white Christians. The easiest way to thwart him and frustrate him is to laugh at him, refuse to engage, and take that audience away. ;)

That's the Google link for "El Cid" and "Western Christian Culture". Trust me, he's been around for a long time. There'd be even more Google evidence, but unfortunately Beliefnet finally purged all of their old message forum posts, so the contents of the "Western Christian Culture" board were lost.

I got bored and decided to search his forum posts and found this gem entitled The Fight for Culture. Here is the OP: "We Christians will never be able to overcome our theological differences, but we should be able to unite in recapturing American culture. Religious Jews could and should join us in this effort, as well.
