I say, that the Republicans are "letting this go to the wire" (72 hours before a house vote, 90-120 before Senate).

These people live in a freaking echo chamber so tightly self-managed they are lucky they don't have the vaccuum tugging at their brain cells.

That is as good a theory as any.

No other way to explain this than saying they are all insane.

waited 'til the last minute and it came in just MINUTES late. It affected the bond market/interest rates immediately, and although they were able to rectify it in just a few days, the interest rates stayed up. Shocking, I know.

If all these newbie smart asses weren't there, the old guys would have put on the show but delivered the vote, I think.

And I have to admit I'm shocked, too - this will affect the Republicans as well as the Dems. The American people - "normal" people, not like us who are into this, are becoming disgusted with them all.

Timmy's got to go. I had high hopes when we heard a fleeting rumor he might, but alas, here he still is. That's one of the Obama WTF appointments that really bothers me.

Hillary ran her 2007/8campaign as if it were still 1996 and google/youtube hadn't been invented yet.

We all need to work with the times, and the DC echo chamber is soooo 1980s...
