Limbaugh took time out at the end of last week to get some coaching. If he’s back on his show today he will be giving the marching orders to the GOP and especially the Teabaggers. Then Hannity will reinforce the official line.

If there’s any chance for the GOP to get rational on all this and compromise on their pledge not to raise taxes on millionaires and billionaires the GOP will either have to figure out a way to get Limbaugh to give them some slack or they will have to ‘disappoint’ Limbaugh and damage his certitude.

That's unlikely to happen. He owns the GOP. He and his wannabes are the best weapon the GOP has against the Democrats and damaging his godly status would be a big hit for the Republicans...................

First off his followers are simply "MORONS", and their numbers are dwindling! Even the almighty Lard Butt can't keep spewing hate day after day and be able to draw new listeners, the old ones are just brain dead zombies who can't think for themselves!

He can bitch all he wants, the majority of Americans WANT a "REAL" compromise that includes letting tax cuts for the rich end, and making the rich, and corporations pay their fair share, not let them keep sucking the U.S. treasury dry with their Bush tax cuts!

Rush Limbaugh said Speaker of the House John Boehner phoned him this morning around 10:30 to brief him on the latest news about his negotiations with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell to raise the nation's debt ceiling.

Limbaugh told about the conversation on his nationally syndicated radio program. Boehner said there is a two-tier plan in the works. Step one would cut $1.1 trillion in spending with a $1 trillion increase in the debt that would get the government to April 2012 with no tax increases.

The next tier would be recommended cuts by a joint House-Senate committee made by twelve members, six from each chamber with three each appointed by each leader, Boehner, Reid, McConnell and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi.

Limbaugh said that McConnell is now on the same page as Boehner.
