I voted this morning in the Wisconsin recall election at my city clerk's office.
Today was the first day for early voting which runs through Friday, 5 August.

My goddaughter and I each cast our votes for Jennifer Shilling (who is our state rep.) in the recall of Dan Kapanke who is widely expected to lose. We each declined to show our IDs which was fine with the people working there and I was surprised to see about 6 other people voting at about 9:30 a.m.

My 19 year old goddaughter was excited about voting early because she is working to get the vote out for Shilling going door to door mostly in the small communities around La Crosse. She will be able to tell them when she goes to work today that she has already cast her ballot for Shilling.

There is no excuse for any Democrat not to vote in these recall elections. None.

9. The great thing about this is that people can vote NOW, all this week and next week.
It is so simple and any time taken is very minimal and you can vote and be done with it and not have to worry about voting later in August.

Did I forget to say how easy this is?

My 19 year old goddaughter is stoked about how she can tell them today while working to get out the vote for the recall that she already voted.

10. For the evening crowd: early voting for the August 9th recall elections started today.
Everybody who is eligible to vote, you can go to your city clerk's office and do it now.

Everybody votes. No excuses.
