Defeated: Sarah Palin's Documentary Has Already Been Relegated To Pay-For-View
Further evidence Sarah Palin has lost her crowd appeal.

The Undefeated, the documentary (propaganda film) Palin commissioned about herself ahead of a possible 2012 run, has already bottomed out at theaters.

The movie received wide release back in June but failed to catch on with the masses, pulling in a measly $24,000 despite opening in 14 Tea Party friendly venues, reports The Wrap. An Atlantic writer witnessed the empty theater phenomenon firsthand.

In the hopes of making up some of that lost revenue the film's distributor Arc Entertainment is going the pay-per-view route and making the film available through satellite companies such as DIRECTV, DISH Network and Time Warner Cable.

2. I'm glad for that bit of good news, in the midst of what seems to be horribly
depressing news hitting me from all sides at once.

8. I am a bit worried, though, that the film might have done better if the
title had made its subject more clear. There are still many who worship at her altar, but most of them probably don't read enough or know enough to realize that the movie is about their idol.

Also, I am guessing that the same system that props up RW book sales will eventually make DVDs of this movie seem like a "bestseller" by purchasing them in huge lots and then giving them away or selling them for almost nothing at RW sites or at RW organizational meetings.

14. "The Undefeated" sounds like a sports movie. If they had titled it "The Uninformed"; "The Whiner"

"The Sore Loser" or "The Willfully Ignorant" they might have sold more tickets.

As it is I bet Nailin' Palin has probably made more money for Larry Flynt than Palin will get for The Undefeated.

13. I only wish Vin Diesel were as unpopular as Sarah.
Maybe then I wouldn't have to wait until October to rent Fast Five.

Yeah, whatever. I have this male gene I can't seem to control. It apparently loves fast cars and Vin Diesel.
