New Court Filing Reveals How the 2004 Ohio Presidential Election Was Hacked
A new filing in the King Lincoln Bronzeville v. Blackwell case includes a copy of the Ohio Secretary of State election production system configuration that was in use in Ohio's 2004 presidential election when there was a sudden and unexpected shift in votes for George W. Bush.

The filing also includes the revealing deposition of the late Michael Connell. Connell served as the IT guru for the Bush family and Karl Rove. Connell

ran the private IT firm GovTech that created the controversial system that transferred Ohio's vote count late on election night 2004 to a partisan Republican server site in Chattanooga, Tennessee owned by SmarTech. That is when the vote shift happened, not predicted by the exit polls, that led to Bush's unexpected victory. Connell died a month and a half after giving this deposition in a suspicious small plane crash.

A "man in the middle" is a deliberate computer hacking setup, which allows a third party to sit in between computer transmissions and illegally alter the data. A mirror site, by contrast, is designed as a backup site in case the main computer configuration fails.

Spoonamore claims that he confronted then-Secretary of State Blackwell at a secretary of state IT conference in Boston where he was giving a seminar in data security. "Blackwell freaked and refused to speak to me when I confronted him about it long before I met you," he wrote to Arnebeck.

2. call the cops! Bush stole the election!
Oh yeah--that won't work, will it? In fact, no one can save us from this criminal act. Instead everyone is told to ridicule us for wanting honest democracy unskewed by partisan traitors.

3. This so fucked up isn't it?
It is obvious they stole the election twice, and repukes will try it again in 2012.

4. I knew something was fishy but didn't want to believe it...
I don't believe it happened in Cuyahoga County as most people think. I was on the board there and know what happened up there and traced how the problem was fixed.

But in Southern and Central Ohio, well that was another story.

5. If you...
Don't have election integrity, and you don't have a functioning, independant press that makes sure you've got an educated, well-informed electorate, then you don't have a working democratic system. We've got neither right now.

And until we get the corrupting money out of the system, nothing gets fixed.

7. Yeah, we already know that both the 2000 and 2004 elections were stolen.
But will this really see the light of day in court?

8. Monstrous! How can anyone predict where they will strike next, with so many vulnerabilities?
They should be blocked, caught, tried, but there are so many ways and places they can steal our government.

People have been thinking about Ohio's operation ever since the 2004 election.

Republicans just wouldn't be able to win if they didn't resort to crime every time. What a shame. They have NOTHING the country really wants.

Thank you, ej510. Rec.

10. I have always maintained this country, supposedly the most democratic in the free world

went eight years without an elected leader. It got us a bunch of fascists on the supreme court, a preemptive strike on another country, the near collapse of our financial markets, a bunch of war criminals that belong at the Hague, etc, etc.

11. This is such old news here. Despite the massive evidence for the 2004 election theft, ...
... the result is the same.

Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nothing.

Move along. Nothing to see here (again).

I guess cheating and stealing has just become the modus operandi for the GOP and nobody will ever call them on it.
