I thought the President's strategy on calling on the people for help
was good and smart. I disagree fundamentally sometimes with him (cutting government spending during a deep recession is bad economics), but this strategy helps expose the sheer dishonesty and banal behavior of the American right. Of course any of the plans proposed is a right wing victory in that it is all their ideology. But there may be a victory for reason with the strategy the President used. My 2 cents.

1. Can't believe he finally uses the bully pulpit..
and it's to demand that people slit their own economic throats by supporting austerity.

Horrible.

2. I'm with you on that. I call austerity suicide economics.
My liking the strategy does not change that.
