. . . . I am neither a LIHOP nor a MIHOP person. I DO think they were VERY adept at making hay while that white hot sun shone.

Wars.

MIC gets rich.

Grover.

Spend without taxing.

Blow up the bubble

Burst the bubble.

Crash the economy.

Kick "them" out.

Blame the new guy.

Damage already done.

Demagogue.

Misinform.

Too much debt.

Balance the budget.

Their frame.

We're lame.

Here we are.

Grover.

Smiling.

Lower our rating.

Less money.

Kill the programs.

Impoverish us all.

3rd World wages.

Jobs back

Cheap labor here.

Rinse

Repeat.

Many of us will be dead before it happens.

6. In an intelligent civilization, people would be shouting for Bush's head.

I was just riding my bike through a redwood forest, and the thoughts were flowing. It is ridiculous that people seem to not see, or have forgotten, that Bush made this mess.

The tv lights flash in living rooms all over this country. And not a single one mentions that this man and his friends did this to them. We cannot look backwards. And in that respect, we are a country without a rudder. Because rudders are in the rear for a reason.

Not that it would help now. And not to pardon Obama. But I do think Obama is working within the confines of a difficult space.

8. I've got it made.

I'd love to share it. A private trail that meanders for miles. I designed my life around it. Work? What's that? The hard part is that the banana slugs are out in full force. It's a real chore to avoid them. Which I do with the utmost of respect. I'm living in my own fantasy world. And it's nice and foggy and cool today.

OK, back to reality.

12. Absolutely. I never use the name "Bush" without all that accompanies it.

Thank you for pointing it out. I sometimes use "gang", or some other term to qualify my meaning.

And when thinking about what you just said, I realize that it is hard to point a finger at the cause. Cheney, Halliburton, CIA, Pentagon, private contractors, Colin Powell's UN appearance.

I can't believe we've been here for ten years on this forum.
