Repubs think Obama wants a tax increase...

so that there's more money for the Dems to spend.

How's this for "compromise"?

All new revenues from any tax increase shall be applied directly to the US debt. Would be interesting to see how that suggestion would play out with the Baggers.

These are people who cannot be reasoned with so any attempts to do so is just an exercise in futility. These are people whom the only option is simply to defeat them.
