Need help with definitions
Politicians use the words 'small business' and 'middle-class' all the time.
Any politician that I have called has no definitions.
How are the American people suppose to know what they are talking about
if they can not define them??

Anyone care to take a stab??

3. All I get from the politicians is that everyone has a different answer
and then when I ask for their definition they do not have one.......

Your's fit but I was hoping for something a little more concrete

The best I got was from Reid's office.
The top of middle-class was $250,000

But they can also be classified according to other methods such as sales, assets, or net profits

4. Re: "small business"
I recall that there was a big deal made awhile back about the fact that the Republicans were caught defining "small business" as any S-corporation, meaning any company which was owned directly by one or more people rather than having public stock.

6. One definition of "small business" I use is: Doesn't pay federal income taxes.
If you have money left over to be taxed, you're probably not a small business.

9. No, I said "one" definition I use. It doesn't apply universally, but it's a good rule of thumb. nt.

8. We can define our terms all we want, but
that's not going to stop people from slinging them around like hula hoops at a beach party.
