Michele Bachmann has LOST control of her House Teaparty Caucus
Edited on Fri Jul-29-11 08:08 PM by Tx4obama

Here's a link to Bachmann's House Teaparty Caucus member membership list (Updated 7/12/11):

http://bachmann.house.gov/News/DocumentSingle.aspx?DocumentID=226594

Bachmann wasn't able to get many of her members to vote 'no', looks like the majority of them went with Boehner and not her!

p.s.
The 22 House GOP 'no' votes: http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=439x1608829

Edited to add

And here's a list on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea_Party_Caucus#Members.2C_112th_Congress

(Thank you ProSense :) )

3. Here's an updated list
Tea Party Caucus: Members, 112th Congress

The caucus chairman is Michele Bachmann of Minnesota. As of March 31, 2011 the committee has 60 members, all Republicans.<16>

Sandy Adams, Florida

Roscoe Bartlett, Maryland
Joe Barton, Texas
Gus Bilirakis, Florida

So 22 Republicans voted against Boehner's dead bill, including Bachmann, whose caucus abandoned her to vote for a dead bill.

10. Ooooh NO, it is more than 38.
Edited on Fri Jul-29-11 11:56 PM by Tx4obama
Some of the 22 folks that voted 'no' are not in the House Teaparty Caucus - (13 of them)

So, even more her folks than 38, by my calculations 51 abandoned her.

Only EIGHT of Bachmann's Caucus members voted 'no' along with her :)

Edited to add:

The NINE House Teaparty Caucus members that voted no were: Bachmann, Brown, Duncan, Huelskamp, King, McClintock, Mulvaney, Walsh, and Wilson.

LOL :)

6. I continue to be amazed.........
at Republicans ability to shoot themselves in the foot! Perhaps this is what happens when everything in their lives relates to greed, money, and power.
