The Shock Doctrine In All Its Glory
byLaFeminista

.........................

We give away our wealth in subsidies to some of the wealthiest corporations on the planet. We let them throw millions out of work in the name of profit by outsourcing, we allow them to hide the profits via off-shoring. We even applaud their success.

Here we all are watching a farce going on in DC over a debt ceiling that was never a problem before; but this time we will be sold down the river. There has been little discussion on how to create jobs across the nation; there appears to be little will to do so on either side of the aisle. The middle class has been asset stripped over the last decade and are now being asked to hand over their children's future. The poor have been totally forgotten since they have no more to give.

We appear to be avoiding every opportunity to change and creating false panic to cut every social program out there and to hell with those who will suffer.

Every Democratic Party Principle is up for compromise, well not compromise...to be given away free of charge more like.

and we, the population in general, fall for this ruse EVERY SINGLE TIME!

Create a crisis
demand shrinking government
privatize everything
give away public assets to corporations
cut social programs

rinse
repeat.

until we have modern-day feudalism

we've seen it time and again....both in foreign lands and here and you know what?....the conservative wet-dream has NEVER, EVER, EVER COME TRUE no matter how many times they've tried it.

5. And, so, we pay Tribute to a Gang of Economic Pirates
All they need is a ship and hoist the Jolly Roger.
