looks like Obama assumes that Pelosi will deliver the required votes
As an Obama supporter (lessening) I don't, in fact I hope she tells the progressives to vote against the bill until it can be fully vetted.

1. This is a clever squeeze play to box the House Democrats in.
Did you notice first Reid and McConnell make love on the Senate floor setting the stage for President to speak.
Then he comes on and states it is done deal offering congratulations to all. All this with the markets as the backdrop.

The strategy is to give the House no room to back out now.

3. Yes, he clearly said all leaders from both sides in both houses support this. Last I heard Pelosi
was tepid at best and not even remotely certain she'd have the necessary, or even any, votes for this garbage.

He's obviously trying to force her hand. Now would be the perfect time for the house Dems to say F this and vote it down.

$1.5T in cuts by the super congress when "everything is on the table" will not end well for us. Bad deal. No deal.
