Ok I got a question Mr. President, yep here down
by the little people's corner.

If our letters, faxes, tweets et al... forced you to act... why are we leaving revenues OFF THE FRACKING TABLE and the GOP is STILL getting their agenda through?

Oh wait, I guess those were the only ones that counted.

And at this point I KNOW it don't matter... but I will keep trying. Not that it makes a difference. After all I don't have a few billion... or at least a few million. I am just a little one...

1. He was perpetuating the myth for the global population.
We know we don't count for much other than picking up the pieces...oh, that's after we've pulled ourselves up by our boot straps. imho

2. At this point, I just can't figure
Out if President Obama is closer to Neville Chamberlain or Vidkun Quisling. I will give him the benefit of the doubt and go with Neville.

3. I learned here at DU, that Obama
reads 10 letters a day from the public. These are selected and edited for him by his wallstreet-appointed staffers.

Nadin, I think its a safe guess that letters from you, and letters from me, will not be waiting on Obama's desk next to a fresh hot cup of black coffee and a biscotti, any time soon.

GW Bush had the lapse in judgement to actually say, Who cares what you think!".

Obama does'nt need to say it.

4. That's kinda funny.
I know that none of my emails asked for any of the stuff this bill contains.

They contained things like Clean Debt Ceiling, 14th amendent, don't surrender to terrorists and leave social Security, Medicare and Medicaid alone.

6. No, parties change... and the democratic party
has moved right, over the course of 35 years...

They are now a business friendly, establishment party.

Look at the, for all intends and purposes, functionally the third party in Congress. that is the tea party.

As much as I hate their guts. and they are funded by the extreme right... we need to do the same. We need to build a parallel national organization, and RUN our candidates in every democratic primary.

The lesson here should be ORGANIZE.

And realize that in the short term voting might not make a difference... but you want it? ORGANIZE.

7. " ... why are we leaving revenues OFF THE FRACKING TABLE ..."
do you want Bachmann, what about the Supreme Court. Who else are you going to vote for and staying home means Bachmann or some other Repub, it is all covered.

The debt ceiling should have been raised when the Bush tax cuts were extended in December 2010, but then we would not be talking of cutting entitlement spending now.

:(

8. Look here is a simple answer from me
I will vote in november, I will not stay home... but I am as cynical now as I was at 18 in another country... all you are gonna get is a fracking vote... Live with it... and who I vote for, is my business... it's always been my business and will continue to be my business.

Alas donating to a political candiate, my wallet is closed.

Phone banking for a candidate... I got better things to do.

Walking precincts, same thing...

And if (I know I will) get a call from any candidate, I will hang up on them, regardless of party.

11. I will not stay home either ...
but since I do not have unlimited funds, I'll spend that vote carefully.

And it is my business as well.
