What makes it so funny is that it was from this idiot who is anti-LGBT. He has no business calling anyone a bigot. SIGH. I just told him to keep his religion to himself, quit trying to tell everyone else how to live their lives and the only one being hateful was him.
And then I edited my Facebook friends list because I am SICK of the moral superiority and morons thinking they are intellectual know-it-alls. They are really self righteous idiots who have no idea what what the hell they are talking about.

1. You will get called worse things than "bigot" if you suggest that one particular religion
be separate from one particular state. Was it a case of "that" religion or was it just some random Christian or Muslim fanatic?

4. I am not surprised.
My best friend once went into a 10 minute rant how he was "sick and tired" of having his rights taken away. He feels the first amendment is freedom of "HIS" religion, but no further. Me being a Gay-Atheist I have no rights. Funny thing although he is married now, 20 years ago he and I were partners (and not in business) ;)

7. Wow. Hypocrite!
Freedom of Religion MUST extend to Freedom FROM Religion as well. I basically told him to shove it and edited my friends list. He was giving me side long glances all day at work today. I just wanted to break his nose.

8. Of course an anti-GLBT bigot is all for his church controlling the state.
And if it ever did the govt would implode. Those folks argue about the most inconsequential things re the bible.

I find it's a waste of breath to debate (or talk with) a flat earther. They can't think outside the box - or their pea sized brain.

16. no... Separation of Church and State is part of our Constitution
telling religious fanatics that government and religion should be separate is constitutional and free speech. What they are doing is UNCONSTITUTIONAL...

I'm hoping you are joking and not trying to spin this bs as the religious nuts being the victims here.

24. This is interesting re "separation of church and state"
http://www.usconstitution.net/constnot.html#church

<snip> The Separation Of Church and State

The phrase "separation of church and state" does not appear anywhere in the Constitution. Thomas Jefferson wrote that the 1st Amendment erected a ”wall of separation” between the church and the state (James Madison said it "drew a line," but it is Jefferson's term that sticks with us today). The phrase is commonly thought to mean that the government should not establish, support, or otherwise involve itself in any religion. The Religion Topic Page addresses this issue in much greater detail. <end snip>

in their agenda, nor is it constitutional... they are trying to force their religion down every tax payers throat, by using our commons to spread their private beliefs.

23. When you create (in your mind) a GROUP of 'morons,' that's bigotry.
Actually it's fairly easy to see that in your OP, if you weren't a bigot.

26. Interesting Defintion of Bigotry You Have
If the attitude about this group is based upon their actions and statements, i think one has to REALLY stretch the definition to call it bigotry. The term "moron" used by the OP is based upon the actual behavior of those folks. It's not rooted solely in the fact that they believe in something. It is based in how they act on those beliefs.

That is not bigotry.

21. Just tell him that the Pope has his plan all ready to be put into place
as soon as he gets the go-ahead from the Roman Catholic controlled Supreme Court.

I hope he doesn't mind Oklahoma being religiously ruled by a Prince of Rome.

Oh, and fined for not going to a Catholic church and donating every Sunday and holy day of obligation. Or his kids taken from him and put into an orphanage if he refuses to raise them Catholic, and send them to a Catholic parochial school.

The RCC had no problem killing infidels and heretics before. Convert or die was their motto.

People like that see the outcome in the way they wish to see it, not in any way it might come out just a tad differently from the way they think it will.

I fhe thinks that HIS religion will be the paramount one in this nation, he needs to look at some nunbers.

Start your argument with, "If it's bigotry to tell people to keep their religions to themselves, why yes, I am a bigot." Then it is you who have set the parameters of the ensuing discussion.

Live and let live is not bigotry. Forcing your brand of religion down my gagging throat is.
