2. REgarding auto sales, consumer cofidence is obviously low but the cost of new cars
continues to go way up the cost to drive them continues to go way up.
They still have not come out with cars that are significantly more fuel efficient.

So who in their right mind would buy one if they cost more and aren't any better?
Even if there was all the consumer confidence in the world?
