5. Fascinating segment on hostage-taking

When the Bush tax cuts were extended, making them the Obama tax cuts, at presser right afterward reporter asked him,

"Why didn't you get debt ceiling extension as part of this? Now Boner will hold leverage on you when that comes up".

President: Leverage?

Reporter: Yes, now you will have to negotiate again to get the debt ceiling raised

Prez: I take John Boner at his word

Wow. Maybe he really is that clueless

Make no mistake: the right wing has taken Americans hostage. By threatening to cut off government services to all, they got their way. When foreign nationals try this trick, they get called terrorists.

I prefer to call them traitors.
