Its amazing to watch the republicans, a minority, run the country
The Republicans are the minority party in power, they control the House, while the Democrats control the Senate and the Presidency.

Yet if you go by the recent history, it appears the Republicans are the ones in power and calling the shots while the Democrats are in the minority. Its bizarre.

1. If you count the number of Democrats who are actually acting like repukes
you'll find that they are the majority.

We have to stop supporting candidates in 'our' party when they are definitely not on our side.

4. Occam's Razor: the Republicans don't run the country, it's just that Democrats agree with Repubs
more than they disagree.

7. And when they control the Oval office, they tell Congress what to do.
We didn't forget about how Bush got everything he wanted from the Democrats after 2006.

Democratic politicians always need more.

Republicans do whatever they can with as little as they have, stick by their guns, and get what they want, even though the vast majority of the people don't want it.

Yes, there's something wrong with this picture.

8. They get by with a little help from their friends...

Obama keeping Democratic Leadership in the dark in order to cut backroom deals with Repukes the Dems will be expected to honor...or else:
Reid: 'I'm the Senate majority leader. Why don't I know about this deal?'

Obama was pushing the cuts to Social Security/Medicare/Medicaid during the bargaining process, not the Repukes:
Conyers: Obama Proposed Social Security Cuts In Debt Talks, Not Republicans

Those are both firsthand accounts. Reid's office confirmed his statement and Conyers on video making the statement.

12. it's not the rethugs,
i agree with upthread, it's the MONEY party, and they have infiltrated all branches of govt, all 'types' the (R) and (D) are just decoration...they are all members of the (GREED) party

and I cannot even handle the role Obama has played in these debacles...all the wheeling & dealing is really just smoke & mirrors, to distract us from the crap they pass that continues to ruin our lives...

13. The Democrats not ONLY have the White House & The Senate,
most importantly, they also have the support of an overwhelming MAJORITY of the American people.

WHY can't they get the job done?

You will know them by their WORKS,
not by their excuses.

14. The policies that WE think of as Democratic have the people's support
But the Dems in office don't support those policies (otherwise, they'd fight for them).

So no, the Dems don't have the public's support. Rather the Dems-we'd-like-to-imagine have that support.
