10. "In fact, I was puzzled
when he told me, 'Tell Ehrlichman this whole group of Cubans is tied to the Bay of Pigs.' After a pause I said, 'The Bay of Pigs? What does that have to do with this ?' But Nixon merely said, 'Ehrlichman will know what I mean,' and dropped the subject."

"It seems that in all of those Nixon references to the Bay of Pigs, he was actually referring to the Kennedy assassination." - H.R. Haldeman, "The Ends of Power"

13. Will it be available for Kindle?
Don't think I'd spend the rest of the summer reading it, but maybe some night this winter when I'm freezing to death I will need to keep my mind off of the depth of snow.

16. Interesting.
I look forward to this. And I thank you for your OPs, and your continuing effort to bring important information to this community. These are the types of things that make this forum my favorite on the internet.

I'm curious if you are familiar with David Wise & Thomas Ross's 1964 book, "The Invisible Government" (Random House)? The early chapters of the book focus on some of the dynamics of the Bay of Pigs which had not been mentioned in the press at that time, and which remained unexamined by the corporate media since.

It's the type of book that I think my favorite DUers -- such as you -- would appreciate.

17. Thank God the National Security Archives will be pressing on for the benefit of the whole world.
This is an amazing accomplishment. Looking forward so much to looking at this material.

It's great noting that they have material here concerning Kennedy's aide, Richard Goodwin's communication with Che Guevara. The American public never had any idea whatsoever that Kennedy was seeking more information from Cuba's leaders at that time, and was seeking closer, better relations at the very time he was murdered.

What a tremendous way to start a week. I'm so glad I was able to see your post today. Thank you. Rec.
