Who in the heck wants to have kids in this economy with the crazies running the government making laws to protect obscenely wealthy in this country.

2. I used PP to get my pills when my husband was out of work
for over a year. We had two young daughters. Last thing we needed was another child. Whenever I post my story anywhere, NOT A ONE right winger comments on my story. All they talk about is unmarried women crossing their legs and unmarried men zipping up their pants. They have no argument for MARRIED COUPLES using PP to PREVENT children they cannot afford to have. Abstinence in MARRIAGE anyone? I don't think so.

3. Oh, but wait!
No birth control, abstinence! Then if there is, let's say, ahem, an *accident,* then you will be FORCED by threat of IMPRISONMENT to bring the widdle baby to term.

Women in the eyes of skinny, white, Republican men must be sexy, sassy, simple-minded, and subservient. It's just the way it's going to be, little lady.

6. This applies to new insurance policies
No More Co-pay for Birth Control

Aug. 1, 2011 -- Health care reform requires new insurance plans to fully cover women's preventive care, which now will include free birth control, yearly wellness visits, breastfeeding counseling and equipment, and screening for gestational diabetes, domestic abuse, HPV, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and HIV.

...

The new requirement does not affect health plans in effect before March 23, 2010. These "grandfathered" health plans include most employer-sponsored plans. However, the majority of employer plans already cover contraception.

Starting August 2012, new health plans will have to offer the expanded wellness coverage without requiring a co-payment. Insurers may "use reasonable medical management to help define the nature of the covered service," according to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

You can bet it is not free and that the insurance companies will build the cost into their premiums.
