Even Biden is looking good now
I have never liked Joe Biden, but I bet even he is having a hard time swallowing all this. Damn, when even a guy like Biden begins to look like a strong leader/president, its surreal. Obama is making the most unlikely Dems seem as better possible replacements.

1. I decided the same thing awhile back.
Particularly when it comes to negotiating with Republicans. Obama in a room with Republicans, negotiating as our point man, is the stuff of nightmares.

6. WELL, the way many Democrats have performed
in recent history there aren't many I do like. Kucinich, John Kerry, Howard Dean, Debbie Washerman-Schultz, all these come to mind that I like.

7. If they actually had to do the job, you wouldn't
It's too easy to idolize those who don't have to really deal with the job.

8. I would love to see them get the chance
And I wouldn't be so sure they would disappoint me either.

4. I warmed up to Biden when he joined the ticket
I think he has been an asset. Having been a long standing member of the senate, he has connections to find out the dirt before it hits.

5. What's your problem with Biden? I've always liked him because of
his down to earth manner and yes, even what the media call gaffs. He's a good and honest man, and you don't find many of them in Washington!

9. He always struck me as being very egotistical and
somewhat smarmy and self-satisfied. And he would go on and on droning and seemed to love to hear the sound of his own voice when I used to watch him in many debates when he ran for president.

11. Yes, he talks a lot but is he wrong?
I always thought he had a lot of knowledge.

12. It may be a style thing more than substance
I just dislike the way he presents himself. I honestly don't know much about his policies or what he thinks about issues, I would always ignore him because of the way he went on and on and on....

14. Actually, he is the opposite. He grew up as a stutterer & was made fun of all the time.
He was able to overcome his stuttering in his teens. And he had that tragedy with his first wife and baby girl.

I've always viewed Biden as someone who feels he has to prove himself, never being satisfied with himself.

10. Obama and Biden are a good team.
I get tired of seeing fellow Dems knock either of them with having partial information and while sitting in their armchairs. They get enough criticism from the Pugs, we don't need to add to the flaming.

We forget that they are POTUS and VPOTUS for ALL the people, not just white Democrats. I'm amazed at how much Biden can accomplish with the hours he has to work...at his age. I feel his pain.

As for Obama. Could you conduct yourself with the intelligence and graciousness he has shown while knowing the horrible things being said about him, the racist slurs...the threats to his life? I think not.

They both get my full support, now and in 2012.
