Sen Reid Could Still Do The Right Thing Tomorrow
He could get the Ds in line and tell them to vote against the deal. That would force one of two scenarios:

1. Congress passes a clean debt ceiling bill and Obama signs it. That won't happen because Cantor already told the House to go on their 5-week, taxpayer-funded vacation. Which leaves,

2. Obama invokes the 14th amendment to raise the debt ceiling. Or,

3. Obama could do the right thing on his own - veto the bill if it passes the Senate, then invoke the 14th amendment.

Too bad none of that's going to happen.

part of the mix once the Gang of 12 gets involved, but Cantor and Boner have gloated today that absolutely no revenues will be considered going forward. That's NOT the deal Reid thought he was signing on to.

8. Nails what?
If that guy is even vaguely Liberal, it doesn't show in his language or attitude.

I would reckon he's not. So, why would we herald his message?
