Unprecedented email from Jay Inslee (D - wants to be governor of Washington state)
I received the following from Mr. Inslee in my email inbox this afternoon:

Dear --------,

My major priority in Congress is to get our economy back on track and create jobs. Last night, I voted to avert an economic disaster.

I believe the bill is a terrible and unbalanced proposal. However, when it was clear I could help protect Medicare, Social Security, and education while raising the debt ceiling to avoid possibly disastrous economic consequences, I had to vote to move forward.

We need to bring people together in an honest and transparent debate about how best to marry our principles with economic reality to solve our short-term economic crisis and long-term debt problem. That is why I have advocated for a balanced approach as our best option, and I will continue to advocate for repeal of the Bush tax cuts for the wealthy and closing corporate tax giveaways as this process continues.

But above all, we must turn our attention toward growing the economy and creating jobs to put our fiscal house in order. I will continue to work across the aisle to accomplish this goal.

Very truly yours,

Jay Inslee

When was the last time you got an email from your Democratic, elected representative in which he or she admitted that they voted for "a terrible and unbalanced proposal"? This bill is a political DISASTER, and I see this unprecedented CYA email as proof.

3. How is the e mail unprecedented? I get several from Jay Inslee's campaign
BTW, he is strongly alternative energy, has driven a hybrid for YEARS, read Apollo's Fire.

Inslee is so much better a choice then the republican jerk who sued the Govt. to stop the healthcare overhaul.

4. I answered that in the OP, so I'll simply quote from it:
