Why doesn't Palin just apologize? Seriously. All she has to say
Edited on Mon Jan-10-11 07:07 PM by jillan
is that she is aware that there have been alot of questions on her crosshair chart over the last couple of days, and that she apologizes that people found it so offensive. Or whatever. Just acknowledge it.

Rather than become defensive, the proper thing to do is to apologize, especially since it was Gabrielle Giffords that discussed the chart after it was first put out.

Sarah, that's what a true leader would do in a situation like this where everyone is pointing fingers at you.

If she can't even do that - she is exactly what we think she is.... a Nothing. No Class. Zero Leadership Skills.

Edit to add - that it just proves she doesn't know right from wrong.

2. Even a concession as to how she could see that lines could be drawn.
But that is not the way of the Right.

3. A Republican? Apologize?
I won't be holding my breath waiting for that to ever happen. They never apologize and they never admit they are wrong.

4. I have heard lots of apologies...
from liberals. Olbermann, David Sirota, Paul Begala, Bill Press, all apologizing today if they have said or done anything to increase the hateful rhetoric in this country.

6. Even if Sarah did apologize, it would be one of those "I'm sorry if you
took offense and got all huffy about this innocent little thing I did" sort of apologies.

7. If Pres. Obama could be even remotely associated with something like this due to something he said..
...or something his campaign did, a 45 minute speech w/ included apology and message clarification would have been issued by now.

12. She really wouldn't have to do that, she could just apologize for the questions that arose since
this tragedy.

Of course, she would never do either.

All the hate speech from the right is not accidental, it's a plan.

And the loonier among the loonies would be trashing her non stop on the web and on hate radio.

And the liberal media would blame the whole thing on the Democrats.

25. I think the real reason she doesn't apologize is she's afraid of looking weak in front of her goons.
That's what the adore about her. Her "Take no shit from those lousy liberals" schtick.

29. Never happen. These are the same people who think Anita Hill should apologize.
The only way these people apologize is in an accusatory fashion. Instead of saying "I'm sorry that I did something wrong," they say, "I'm sorry you mistakenly thought I did something wrong."

30. Republicans NEVER apologize for their actions. EVER.
Oh, some of them may pretend to, but if you read the words close, you see they only say how unfortunate it is that someone (thinskinned) took offense at their words (which are still correct).

36. Because every time a gun is fired or a bomb is dropped,
someone makes money.

And when your on the side of these people, the more strife and bloodshed in the world, the more profits you make.

That is why they are always stirring things up, IMHO.
