S&P projection was 2 trillion dollars off, U.S. Treasury pointed out the mistake

this afternoon. However, S&P went ahead with the downgrade even though they made a substantial error in their projection. This sounds political to me. Per CNN, right now, with Anderson Cooper.

2. I wish!!! S&P actually faults the Republicans in their press release for refusing to allow taxes
for revenue purposes. And for keeping the Bush tax cuts in place.

3. No, not really.
I just read the release, found here:

The "faulting" is pretty weak, if it's even there. If it was there, I don't think there would be as much pushback from the Administration as currently exists.
