With election season coming, make the effort to keep your money from going to Koch Industries

No doubt millions will go to groups that will start pumping the airwaves with ads saying President Obama and Democratic policies led to the first credit downgrade blah blah blah, so let's not give them any help.

It's been on here several times, but again, buy brands other than these (and if people know of companies with products similar that are the better option, or that we also should avoid giving our money to, please say it in a reply):

Household items -

Angel Soft toilet paper
Brawny paper towels
Dixie plates, bowls, napkins & cups
Georgia-Pacific paper products & envelopes
Mardi Gras napkins and towels
Quilted Northern toilet paper
Soft ‘n Gentle toilet paper
Sparkle napkins
Vanity fair napkins
Zee napkins

Also, these products -

All Georgia-Pacific lumber & building products
(INVISTA Products)
Lycra
Stainmaster Carpet

5. Usually the Best Way is to Buy the Ones Made from Recycled Paper
The Koch's are not too big on recycling.

10. yes, like many household paper products, they are mostly made in the USA, but so is Charmin, Bounty,
and many alternatives that can be purchased other than these brands. I know you didn't think their competitors, who weren't Koch owned, were made outside the USA, but look at it this way, whatever job loss occurs at Koch owned plants will only be increased at non-Koch companies. The Koch family is heavily involved in fighting worker's rights all over the USA, and I will give my business to their competitors because they, ultimately, harm worker's rights with their millions and millions spent to help in the fight to take away Union rights, confuse voters, and more.

11. Agreed.
But it still hurts because it isn't the fault of their employees.

7. Koch Has a Monopoly on Stretchy/Breathable Fabric, e.g. Lycra and Coolmax
Those of us who exercise will have to wring the sweat out of our shirts every few minutes
and I don't know what the ladies are gonna do about their bras.
