Tea Party unable to accept responsibility.
John Boehner was running back and forth from the White House to their caucus with their demands. In the end, he said he got 98% of what he wanted. Tea Partiers cheered.

One by one, they stood before the cameras to say they were not worried about default or anything else. We had enough money to pay the interest on the debt and that is all that mattered. That's what Michelle Bachman said. There was nothing to be concerned about. They would hold the country hostage until they got their way with the promise of spending cuts.

But, we see that it did matter. Now, the Tea Party is blaming Barack Obama. They took this country to the verge of default and it was their way or the highway. They got their way. We got a drop in our credit rating. John Boehner and the Tea Partiers got 98% of what they wanted. But, now they say it was Barack Obama's fault? I suppose if he had given them everything they wanted to begin with and thrown in a pint of his blood, then they would have gotten 100% of what they wanted?

What a bunch of irresponsible hypocrites! They caused this credit rating drop and almost caused a default of our entire government. And they were ready to let that happen. But now, they can't accept responsibility? Well, it's theirs. Whether they like it or not.

3. Heads I win, Tails you lose.
They will never admit fault to anything. Bunch of juveniles...they throw a tantrum until they get their way and when they are confronted with the results, they blame the adults.

It's part of the genre.

23. Specifically, they lack empathy and refuse to think.
Empathy and conscious thought are two key aspects of being human. Conservatives appear to be missing both of these components in their psychological makeup, rendering them unfit for human companionship. And you certainly don't want to have one of them in charge of anything important.

6. Baggers will not have shit to run on in 2012
Their whole platform last year consisted of playing the "victim card". ("We want our country back, Govmit is taking away our freedoms, Govmit wanna take away our hard earned money, death panels for grandma.")

Now that they are in control and running DC, to all of our detriment, they can no longer hide behind the victim card. America knows they are responsible for this Satan Sandwich, The baggers are now viewed as the tyrants.

17. Oh don't kid yourself. They will ALWAYS play the victim card. That's what these reckless
irresponsible assholes DO for a living. The richest, most well-insulated, most well-protected GOP titans will always fall back on whining about how put-upon and picked-upon they are and poor them and how they've had the short end of everything. ASSHOLES.

11. If the Tea Party (AKA: Republicans) would quit kissing big business's ass , and admit that
taxes need to be raised, maybe the US wouldn't need to borrow so much.

But then, logic isn't one of their main attributes. The TP owns this one.

A teabagger??

Bill Clinton raised taxes and balanced the budget. Left the whiny ass Repubs with a balanced budget in 2001 and now they say they want a balanced budget. They had one and blew it.

24. And, I assume, lowering taxes *increases* government revenue?
Your analysis is unconvincing to me.

You talk of someone "wanting the government to grow". Who are you talking about? The objective of a liberal is not government growth; the objective of a liberal is fairness, justice, and equality (three things that conservatives apparently hate). Sometimes, to achieve these objectives, government needs to do more. But despite what you hear screeched at you day after day after day on Fox "News", liberals are not demented lunatics who simply want government to get larger and larger for no reason at all until it encompasses everything. This caricature is a ridiculous distortion that you have apparently fallen for, as you include it so unquestioningly in your post.

21. Conservatives seem to have a problem with personal responsibility.
We have had a rash of violent, drunken, philandering republican legislators here in Ohio. You start reading an article, it says that a married state rep was "caught driving drunk with a stripper in his car and Viagra in his system" and you think "he's a republican". You continue reading the article and discover that you were right. This happens over and over and over.

We may have our Weiner and our Wu, but the ratio of bad behavior is still about 10 to 1, "favoring" the right wing. They are defective human beings.
