I'm sorry, I just can't go on spending my life imagining what a bunch of batshit crazy loons are going to think about me. I will insist that it is a reasonable example, and political opposition is not merely partisan, but wacky.

I mean, a reasonable price for the government selling resources - any resources - is replacement cost plus profit. Otherwise why sell? There's nothing about government ownership that prevents the public from benefiting.
