With the current political reality, climate issues, and economy
is it unrealistic to consider that migration to Canada may become a widespread activity?

Can you see the US building a wall to prevent it?

After all, about 34% East Berliners now say their wall was necessary to prevent talented and skilled workers from being drained from their economy.

1. I could be wrong, but.....
Hasn't Canada taken a fairly sizable right turn as of late as well? Nowhere near where we are, but also not a step in the right direction or continuing on the right direction.

2. I think it's more likely Canada would build the wall.

3. Canada does not want us
They have previously stated (durng Bush reign) that there would be no sanctuary given to US citizens. One can not just "migrate" to Canada any more.

7. Why not? They accept many other immigrants.
Every country wants skilled intelligent people. Most European countries are loosening guest worker requirements.

4. Yes. Just like we built that Pacific wall to keep our jobs from going to India/Asia
Oh, wait...

Our people stayed, our jobs just left. Difference is free trade + broadband.

They don't need us anymore (other than to buy shit we import from other countries with whats left of our unemployment checks...)
