Democrats retract accusations of tampering by Waukesha County Clerk Nickolaus
http://www.todaystmj4.com/news/local/127444493.html

BROWN DEER - The Wisconsin Democratic Party has retracted a public accusation by Democratic Party officials Tuesday night claiming fraud during the recall elections.

...

The Democrats later retracted that statement saying the party will not pursue questions of irregularities.

"Though we believe that Sandy Pasch was able to battle Alberta Darling to a virtual tie, on her turf, we will not pursue questions of irregularities. Those heat-of-the-moment statements came in light of the uncertainties that arose from a recent election, known too well," said state party chairman Mike Tate.

2. There weren't any. We had people at every poll watching every move.
This is why DPW retracted. They compared released #'s to tallies at precincts by observers.

3. And as "known too well" should be investigated to the extent of the law and exposed
to daylight, regardless of outcome.

Just in case she is allowed to oversee another election, given that uncertainties are so 'known too well'.

Regardless, congrats on the 2 seats Nikki. Well done WI!

Meanwhile, we had dedicated and well-trained people at every polling place watching her every move. If DPW had evidence of fraud, they'dbe all over it.

I worked on Kennedy v. Sensenbrenner in 2006 and I know how painfully red it is out there.

33. We're doing the best we can.
Despite our reputation, it's important to remember that Waukesha County has the third most Democrats of all 72 counties in Wisconsin - right behind Dane and Milwaukee. That's raw #'s, clearly not percentage but it's important to understand that there ARE a lot of good Dems here. Fighting and working together.

6. Dems once again fail to capitalize on negative Republican actions.

Miss the good headline "Did Republicans tamper with votes?"

The repugs would hammer this day and night across the nation.

Dems fold.

This is why we lose, we don't have enough hate.

DPW had all precinct numbers as they were counted and before they even went to the county.

22. I'm actually glad to hear that.
The idea that Rethugs cheat and consistently get away with it boils my blood. Losing fair and square is another thing. I don't like it, but at least it means we have a fair shot. Hopefully WI will get rid of the rest of the creeps in 2012.

13. Thank you. They were heat of moment accusations.
That sounded pathetic - how could you accuse vote counting cheating when no evidence was in - counting was still going on when he said this!
Go out today, and gather witnesses and evidence.
THEN say they cheated.

...that they would have 9 of the 10 precincts posted in 5 minutes rather then the "over an hour wait" as they were reporting... she was sitting on the numbers and they called her on it.
