We're dealing with a lot of people who are too afraid to not slit their own throats
It's easier for them to vote Republican, because the Republicans had created the image that THEY are the default party. They're "supposed" to be more American than a party that put a Muslim, communist black guy" in the White House.

In order to do this image makeover, they portray themselves as the "safe" choice, when in actuality, they are anything but safe for working people. People who make up the vast demographic majority of the United States.

We're not going to get these scared people to vote for us by citing how bad the GOP is… They will resist any notion that they're wrong when they vote for Republicans. We're going to have to take a different path… No, not by parroting the Republicans, not the "Third Way at all.

We're going to have to get personal. We have to reach out to them and find common ground and demonstrate that we have their best interests at heart and follow through.

This is something that requires grass roots action in "enemy" territory. A long term "50 State Strategy".

We've given up large parts of America to GOP… We need to take it to the people, for the people and let them know that what we want is the best of all world by the people.

Sure, it's hard work. But most worthwhile things are.

1. I love how obama went to Wisconsin to show solidarity with dems and working people who are being
stripped of their labor and legal rights. Oh wait....he didn't. oh well.

2. Obama isn't the only Democrat in the Democratic party
And he can't be everywhere all the time.

The rest of us have to spread the love as well, instead of being disappointed because he doesn't do what we think he should do at the exact time that we think that he should do it.

It's a pretty lazy thing to do to weigh every single failure around his neck.

3. He was afraid that he would be tarred if the results were as they ended up...
"President fails in Wisconsin" would be the headlines. I can understand no wanting to gamble on a state recall even if I do not like it.
