37% of tea partiers support raising taxes on the rich, oddly enough
That's interesting:



Nearly 2 in 5. And they're more willing than generic Republicans to support defense cuts and tax code reform.

Republicans and Independents are largely indistinguishable on entitlement reform; Democrats and Independents are pretty close on defense spending.

1. what is horrible is that there's majority support for significant changes to ss/medicare.
i'd bet it consists of getting rid of "waste" & "cheaters" but it can be spun.

3. nah, i was looking at the wrong column. good, that surprised me.
now i'm surprised that so few tea partiers want to "reform" those things!
