I hope that the President and Congress heed my plea.

I apologize for my past history of expecting ponies and unicorns.

That is all.

1. THE RICH HAVE THE TAX DOLLARS and did not create jobs.
I like the ideas that Rachel Maddow said tonight. Just start with funding the infrastructure improvements requested by the repigs in Congress for their districts. That can happen without congressional input.

4. The slogan is "Job killing taxes". They actually are making no
promises about creating jobs, just the existential potential of losing jobs, or potentially not creating jobs. It's a typical vacant & cynical right wing bromide.

6. I heartily agree.
It's why we should remove the FICA ceiling and lower the percentage rate to maybe 5%.

8. Manny, you need to watch this
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=385x608307

It will help you recover from the Geithner/Boehner/Obama flu.

One or two viewings per day for three days should set you straight again.

Seems that for the government to regain the revenue lost with a 5% average tax cut (per $100 in earnings), the country has to enjoy GDP growth of 5 times the current GDP. That's a lot of jobs to create, and so far our job creators have not shown themselves to be up to the task.

Don't worry. Rest and be sure to take your medicine and your sanity will be restored.
