Support Verizon Workers and ‘Adopt a Store’

Some 45,000 members of the Communications Workers of America (CWA) and Electrical Workers (IBEW) walked out on Sunday to support their right–and that of all workers–to be justly rewarded for their hard work. They want the company to abandon its Wisconsin-style tactics and return to the bargaining table. So far, the company has refused to talk or to back off a long list of nearly 100 concession demands that would destroy nearly 50 years of negotiated benefits.

For those of you on the East Coast, there is a map there for you to support a store and join a picket line.
