Matt Miller Hits the Nail on the Head.....
...in his article today. He described my feelings perfectly. Still, it makes no sense to me that the American people would rather have tea-bag lunatics running this country as opposed to a man who, despite all his flaws, genuinely wants to work with both sides and have an even-handed approach.

4. So Obama and the Tea Party are the same?
That your point?

We can test that theory ... all Dems should stay home in 2012, and let the GOP Tea Tantrum party run the show.

That will work out well.

6. How do you equate a call for BO to act like a DEMOCRAT to support for the TeaBaggers? Project much?

3. I first realized that Republicans are playing football not responsibly
acting in the politics during the attacks on the Clintons.

All that Republicans wanted was to win. They did not care that it resulted in the suicide of a Clinton aide. They did not care when many on their own side of the aisle were publicly embarrassed and repudiated in retaliation for their extremist personal attacks on the Clintons.

Bill Clinton was incredibly patient and humble in the situation. But still, the Republicans were utterly cruel.

The Starr investigation was beyond the pale -- just a vindictive hunt for prey.

Any politician who lived through that period and still thinks he can bare his throat to and "cooperate" with Republicans is a masochist.
