I'm not sure what you were looking at, but the pictures I saw were a veritable rainbow. Yobs are yobs, regardless of skin-tone.

some here have also used it for lower class, home boys. Add to that chav.

The demographic in the court rooms belays that, but that is another story.

21. Like most of these explosions, it is complicated
yep.

And while most actors in a riot are not there for the high political goal... their actions are driven by material conditions, greed, adventure... and yes in some cases politics. How much of what... mileage will vary from riot to riot.

But the people at court... if it was just "chavs" they'd ignore it. Kids from "good backgrounds" perhaps somebody in the home office will start asking the obvious question... WHY? And the answer is not that simple.

26. To refer to someone as a yob is not so much an
indication of their social status, but their attitude and behaviour. There are as many yobs in the high-end postal codes as the low-end. Some of them even wear school ties and speak in Parliament . . .

When you see corruption & greed go unchecked in society at the top, is this what happens? Is this trickle-down frustration seeking an outlet? All those threats to what Brits take for granted. Widening of the haves and have nots. Hard to see it as just temporary insanity, not on this scale. You have to look for some systemic reasons.
