Who benefits more from public services?
I've noticed right wingers claiming that the rich should not pay more taxes, because the poor benefit much more. I call bullshit on that. The rich use public highways to transport their goods, they use public airwaves to advertise their goods, they rely on air traffic controllers if they use planes to ship their goods. They have benefited greatly from the internet which was invented by the government. I don't even want to think how much money in subsides we give them. I'm sick of this individualism myth that the Right keeps parroting. It is nothing more than a myth. Wealth is a creation of society, there is no such thing as a self-made millionaire.

2. The Principal Benefits Derived By The Rich, Sir, Are Security Of Property And Enforcing Of Contracts
These do not benefit the poor at all, indeed in many instances work actively against the poor. Wealth, however, is impossible without them. Make no mistake, both are the product of state action, specifically state violence, whether active or potential, weilded in the interests of the wealthy.

3. Rich Bennifit from social safety nets too!
A lot of Tea Partiers don't seem to understand how much these programs improve the quality of life for everyone. These social programs help reduce crime, less civil unrest, cleaner streets, less people in prisons, and I'm sure if I spent some time thinking about it I can come up with 10 other things that bennefit the wealthy.
