"Inquiry under way into how to clamp down on social media" (UK)

Police have been given the right to unmask thugs bringing chaos to Britain's streets and measures could be taken to clamp down on social media, David Cameron announced today.
The Prime Minister, in an emergency statement to the Commons on the violence, suggested sites such as Twitter could be closed down during periods of disorder to avoid co-ordinated unrest.
