Who is Rick Perry? Another scarry read.
http://www.cnn.com/2011/OPINION/08/11/moore.perry.candidate/index.html

As a Canadian I tend only to pay attention to the larger US political figures so until now I haven't heard of Rick Perry. But I just finished reading this interesting Op-Ed CNN piece, scary read.

2. Brought to you by the official DU spelling and grammar police - "scary"
One doubts if a read can even have a scar, hence one must consider the possibility that the OP contains this common error.

4. My spelling is notoriously bad. At times I think I suffer from some mild form of dyslexia...
My literary skills on the other hand are ironically quite good. So it's not uncommon for me to write something that is eloquently expressed but rife with spelling mistakes a 10 year old might make :(

8. True that
Your writing is quite skillful, which makes some of the typos seem glaring! lol I'm just having a little fun...

5. Yes that's scary. But I think the most worrisome thing is the point made in the CNN article...
That this is a republican who might be able to appeal to a larger audience and hence may have a better chance of getting elected. Which isn't to say greater appeal equals less bat shit crazy, just that he has a more polished image. If one of these guys elected president it's going to be hell.

6. The article is bullshit
Podium skills? Bullshit. Tea party loves him as much as Palin? Bullshit. Ohioans will dream of working for Wal-Mart in Texas? Bullshit.

Once the rest of America sees Perry for who he really is, he'll be just as big a joke in the rest of America as he is here in Texas.
