"Corporations are people." Romney said this yesterday. The people
the Republicans represent and serve, unlike US!< This is the message we need to spread.

1. And Hillary Clinton said the same thing about lobbyists in 2008
Both sides are screwing us so accept it and deal with it.

2. The last time I checked, lobbyists were human beings.
Name one corporation that was "birthed" in other than a legal fashion.

False equivalencies again.

3. His statement is beyond ridiculous. A corporation is a construct,
designed for the purpose of making a profit. nt

8. And a corporation is...
a construct designed BY people, made up OF people, with the intent of making a profit FOR people.

Without people, there is no corporation.

Corporations aren't made up of horses or robots or fruit flies. They're made up of people.

So, in a sense, Romney is right. Corporations are the people who run them and work for them.

10. I think Romney has the same problem
John Kerry had during the 2000 campaign...he speaks in nuances.

Well, except the other day when he said he would not raise taxes. I believe that's what he said before becoming Governor here in Mass, but he did raise taxes eventually.

Although, in all fairness, the deficit he walked into was wiped out.

I really believe Romney could end up being the Republican candidate. Which would be interesting...to see how the majority of Mass residents would vote. We're a pretty liberal state, but not everyone is above voting for Republicans...

Are the two parties that different in that respect?

The evidence of the Gulf Oil Spill say differently.
