America will be a country with large PERMANENT UNDERCLASS
Edited on Fri Aug-12-11 08:03 AM by OHdem10
of Whites, Blacks and Browns. I have to assume
everyone is agreeable to this because I do not
and have not seen that much push back by the
Democratic Party.

Without serious change to the system, the asme
wealthy people get richer and richer, the middle
class disappears or becomes so small it will be
difficult to identify the poor will sink into
abject poverty. Charity will be the only means
the poor have fo getting anything.

For my young friends who really have exoeriebced
nothing but a modern America with a safety net,
you will be able to see feel and taste what our
country was like before we had a middle class.

Our Party has joined Republicans. The Fear of
being called Tax and Spend has moved them to
the Right. There is no activism to give them
a spine. A Spine strong enough to make them stand
up and point out a better way for our country.
Americans no longer even know what is a Progressive
Alternative.

Just a little reminder of where America is going
Happy Landing.

8. It always did
It's just getting bigger and affecting the people who thought they were invulnerable. Sucks, huh? I've been down here my whole life, so it's not so bad...except the staring at death every other week when the paycheck runs out.

6. hiring interview
every day you work for 12 hours you get 100 calories worth of food or credit per hour worked, plus tin roof over head

blankets are tradable from the company store at 2400 calories per blanket (fleece)
or 24000 calories (wool army surplus) yearly rent

straw for bedding: 3000 calories
wood for stove: 1000 calories per square foot (subsidized)
rent for wood stove 3600 calories per week and hut (up to 8 beds)
rent for hut 1200 calories per person and week
soap and clothing also available at store
'fresh' water 300 calories per gallon, please boil it first, ask your supervisor about boiling price and premium 'drinking' water prices

you don't work, you don't earn calories, you don't earn calories, you don't eat

welcome to the corporation
and good luck in your new career

and remember 'work makes you free'

12. I would feel alot more badly about this if...
those most effected didn't climb over their own mothers to vote for this and or make worship of the idle and decedent rich as a quasi-state religion.
