Elizabeth Warren: The Collapse of the Middle Class
This is one of the most amazing lectures I have ever seen, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Warren explains a good deal of why the Middle Class is suffering, and how this divide is going to destroy this country.

She is a genius.

1. The working poor, unemployed, disabled, and homeless are also suffering. In short,
there is a LOT of suffering going around and it's only going to suck in more and more people as the middle class continues to collapse. (Stupid congress who only fights for the rich!)

3. Can She Win?
The important thing here is can she defeat Scott Brown? We need to regain that Senate seat if we're to have any hope of keeping the Senate next year. I no longer trust the people of Massachusetts to vote for the right candidate anymore after they pissed on Ted Kennedy's grave and nearly-derailed the health care reform law (which was the cause of Kennedy's life). Absolutely shameful.

9. Wow, just wow. This is a real eye opener.
And realize that this lecture was in 2007. Just imagine what the information presented would be like today.

This has changed many of my misconceptions about our society and culture and why we are where we are. Please take the time to watch this.

11. This lecture took place more than three years ago.
We, at DU all know it's only become much more troublesome. Is it too late to turn the tide back?
