all federal office holders are required to take only ONE pledge
Edited on Fri Aug-12-11 12:56 PM by scheming daemons
The oath of office, swearing to uphold the Constitution of the United States.

Any other "pledge" they take should be looked on as subversive to that oath.

Democrats need to hammer home this point. If you sign Grover Norquist's pledge, you are placing Norquist above the Constitution.

A great debate line for Obama next year:

"I swore to uphold the U.S. constitution. My opponent swore allegiance to Grover Norquist."

1. But, there should be an introduction of who Grover Fuckin' Norquist is
They need to air an mandatory series of who the Republican idiots are and why these fools in Congress are pledging to him instead of defending the Constitution.

5. That's the frame: Have you taken a subversive oath to Grover Norquist?
Or anything other than the US constitution?

9. as soon as Obama mentions his name in a debate with 50 million viewers watching...
...google's servers will have trouble handling the load from all the searches of "who is Grover Norquist?"

You are very wrong.

11. In the October 17, 2000 Bush - Gore debate...
Vice-President Gore asked Bush several times if he supported the "Dingle-Norwood bill" using that specific term. I can guarantee you, nobody ran off to Google "Dingle-Norwood", and nobody was talking about it the next day.

10. And these MFers who swore allegiance to Grover Norquistling have likely sounded the
death knell for social security, Medicare, and Medicaid. At least all nationally-elected Democrats have publicly assailed this treasonous pledge as treasonous, eh, as well as the MSM who assails this pledge 24/7. :patriot:
