Source: MoveOn.org

Profits are through the roof, but Verizon is still trying to screw 45,000 workers and their families. Can you hear them now?

8. I know what you mean.
I have a friend who has AT&T, won't change. Their service is terrible. You deal with their talking computers and it is hard to get a warm body, let alone one without a low wage scale accent.

I have Verizon because of their coverage. I've had very little problems.
They are giving me $100 for an upgrade, so I supposed it's time.

10. My problem with AT&T was
that the repairman was here couple of times a week. I finally dropped my land line and AT&T. Felt like a burden was lifted of my shoulders. Got a cell with Verizon and an air card for my desk pc - no problems.

4. Verizon has always considered employees expendable.

Just like Bell Atlantic and GTE before them. Good luck to all the picketers.
Verizon is pulling in money by the truckload, they just don't want to share.

12. where to go --that is the question.
do you choose between a company involved in a strike or do you go to a non union shop?????

most of the companies out there outside of the biggies are very proudly non union.

13. Lots of red out there........
Does this old commie's heart good to see it. I wish some other unions would go out with these workers. It would be illegal, but fuck it. EVERYTHING that's going to help the working class WILL be illegal.
