Maybe you're like me.
I live in a dark (and I do mean DARK) red state.
My congressman is a repug.
Up until now I haven't made any of my views known to him because I figured "What the hell, he doesn't care, anything I say will just fall on deaf ears, so ferk it."
No. More.
I've decided to become a gnat, buzzing constantly and annoyingly about his ears.
I'll use faxes because
1. His staff can't just delete them, and
2. They'll have a hard copy of what I have to say.
I'll send the faxes to his local office, his main Mobile, AL office, and his D.C. office.
Here's one I just sent:

Every time I see politicians on national TV pontificating about “What Americans want”, or “What American don’t want” I wonder just WHICH ’Americans’ they’re talking about and where they get their so-called information.
Mitch McConnell is especially guilty of this and it does seem to be more prevalent among Republicans.
Do they mean us great unwashed, rank-and-file voters?
Or do they mean the corporations and lobbyists who keep them in office.
I firmly believe the latter.
Hey, corporations are people too, right?
Mitt Romney says so, so it must be true.
I want to see the birth certificates.
<slow burn>
Following are
23, count ‘em,
TWENTY THREE recent polls showing that the vast majority of us voters know some increase in revenue is necessary.
So…do you represent US?
Or corporate lobbyists?
We’d really like to know.
Thank you.

Here's link to polls which I printed and faxed.
The average of all the recent polls show those who know some revenue increases are necessary show 65% in favor and only 30% for spending cuts only.
