CDC is looking for passengers exposed to a flying bat on a Delta flight

recently. If you know anyone who mentioned having a bat or bird on their flight, the CDC would like to talk to them.

2. Flight 5121 from Madison, Wis., to Atlanta on Aug. 5

The bat got away and could therefore not be tested for rabies. Anyone who had physical contact with it needs to be presumed exposed to rabies and treated.

Note: The treatment is nothing to be afraid of. It's NO BIG DEAL as far as pain or side effects goes. It is considered 100% effective if given in a timely manner.
