Though not proud to post this - but since it's bad press for Virginia Foxx I'll try to handle it
BOONE --

Todd Poole, chief of staff for U.S. Rep. Virginia Foxx, R-5th, was arrested this week on suspicion of drunken driving, according to court records.
He’s been charged with driving while impaired, as well as a misdemeanor count of resisting a public officer, records show. He was also cited for failing to yield to a left turn.
Poole could not be reached for comment. He is still working for the congresswoman, Foxx spokesman Aaron Groen said Friday night.
“The congresswoman is committed to letting the process run its course,” Groen said. “It’s basically in the courts, and she wants to make sure the process isn’t interfered with before taking any kind of action.”
He declined to discuss details of the case.
Poole, who lives in Winston-Salem, was driving on N.C. 105 and failed to yield to oncoming traffic while turning left at a traffic light onto a connector to Winklers Creek Road at 10:25 p.m. Tuesday, according to the N.C. Highway Patrol.
Poole, 36, had red, glassy eyes and slurred speech, smelled strongly of alcohol and was combative and unsteady on his feet, Trooper M.A. Goldsmith said in court documents.
Highway Patrol Sgt. Brent Morgan, who was riding with Goldsmith that night, said that Poole had to be forcibly removed from the car.
“Very obviously impaired, very unsteady on his feet,” Morgan said. “There was the definite odor of alcoholic beverage about him.”
Poole refused to take a breathalyzer test, court documents show.

1. This is sad. I hope that if he needs it, he gets himself some help.
Very sad.

3. Being the constituent of this holier than though, sanctimonious crowd
and having stood many a day on corners with signs to get them out of office, I can't worry about the sad of drunk and disorderly. That sounds like a personal problem to me. I worry about the misery of their policies on my community and its children.

a right wing nut windbag like her. Or a right wing winded nutbag like her. Either way I've had a few myself tonight.

I'm just not sure what course we are talking about.

This is what I call a "feel good post"

After what she did to Matthew Sheppard's mom.

8. This happened, it seems, on Tuesday -
the news in the Winston-Salem Journal, the fifth district, her base, is only breaking in the Saturday edition.
I suspect she's been directing that course already...
