Anyone nervous about Tuesday?
In Wisconsin, 2 democratic state senators are up for recall. Jim Holperin and Robert Wirch against Kim Simac and Jonathan Steitz.

What do you think will be the outcome? I think they will keep their seats, but who knows at this point in time.

Apparently to the freeps, both will lose and the recalls were all for nothing and the GOP IS TEH BEST and Unions are evil and need to stop being lazy :sarcasm: Sometimes i wish i could smack these kinda people.

1. I think if it is close, the GOP-controlled voting machines will "flip" it to the GOP

The only way for Dems to win is to win *BIG* so that fraud isn't possible.

2. Yes, a little, especially after last week.
How are they expected to do?

4. the inability of Democrats to take 3 seats might dispirit voters
That's the main danger I see -- depressed turnout due to "underperforming" in last week's races. It's not hard to figure out why the MSM made such a big deal out of the Democratic failure to tip the state senate, despite the races being in predominantly-safe GOP districts.

5. I was figuring the opposite,
we're being reminded daily by mail and phone, so I'm sure the Dems will be out. But I'm thinking that the repubs will think to themselves that the Senate is safe now, so why bother to go out and vote. So maybe less of them, except for the really rabid, will be at the polls.

6. I hope you're right about that
Democratic disappointment and apathy is something that's concerned me about this stage of the recalls. However, you're saying that's not the case, which is reassuring.
